The Digital Research Alliance of Canada (the Alliance) Data Management Planning Expert Group (DMPEG) is currently accepting expression of interest applications for new members. Membership in DMPEG involves attending bi-monthly meetings, participating in additional working groups, and a commitment of a two-year renewable term.
The Alliance has a mandate to transform how research across all academic disciplines is organized, managed, stored and used. Working with other ecosystem partners and stakeholders across the country to help provide Canadian researchers with the support they need for leading-edge research excellence, research, innovation and advancement across all disciplines. DMPEG aims to support the Alliance’s mandate, as a group within the Network of Experts.
DMPEG helps to support research activities across Canada by developing DMP-related guidelines, best practices, content, and resources, including DMP examples, templates and guidance materials, for supporting researchers and research excellence. When appropriate, DMPEG also contributes to the development of standards underlying the structure and management of DMP templates and the exchange of DMP information to facilitate their sharing and reuse. All initiatives are done with the view of supporting Canadian researchers and research excellence. For more information, please refer to the DMPEG Terms of Reference.
